Blu Bank’s “blu Junior” card collection was brought to life through animation, designed to celebrate individuality and self-expression for kids and teens aged 7–18. Each of the seven unique personas—The Explorer, The Dreamer, The Gamer, The Artist, The Hero, and more—was translated into its own animated world. The animations aimed to create a vivid connection between each card’s design and the personality it represents, ensuring that every card tells a compelling and personal story.

The Dreamer
The Dreamer card encapsulates the limitless imagination of fantasy lovers. Its animation brings this world to life, beginning in a dreamlike atmosphere with floating islands and a windmill. A dragon emerges and flies forward before the camera pulls back to reveal a unicorn overlooking a magical landscape, a scene designed to spark creativity and wonder before concluding with the final card design.
Gamer of the Streets
Embodying the energy and dynamism of street culture, the Skateboarder card reflects a fearless, adventurous spirit. The animation captures this with a vibrant chase scene through a downtown city, where teenage characters skateboard and perform parkour while being followed by a playful flood of emojis. This sequence symbolizes a gamer’s journey through exciting worlds before ultimately revealing the final card design.
The Artist
Celebrating a deep connection to the natural world, the Artist card is an invitation to find creativity in nature. Its tranquil animation depicts a peaceful autumn forest gracefully transforming into a vibrant spring landscape filled with blooming flowers. This metamorphosis reflects the journey of turning an idea into reality and symbolizes the harmony between imagination and the environment, concluding as the camera reveals the final card.
The Racer
Paying tribute to the exhilarating world of Formula One, the Racer card channels the speed, precision, and competitive spirit of motorsport. The high-energy animation captures the thrill of a race, with a dynamic camera following the winning car as it releases a dramatic plume of tire smoke across the finish line. This sequence, designed to encapsulate the excitement and adrenaline of the sport, transitions seamlessly to reveal the final card.
The Arcade Player
As a tribute to the timeless appeal of gaming, the Arcade Player card combines nostalgia with the thrill of adventure. The animation captures this retro charm by starting inside a lively arcade and then transitioning through iconic, pixelated worlds. Viewers follow a Mario-inspired character exploring a castle before shifting to a thrilling chase scene with Pac-Man navigating a maze, all before a signature camera pull-out reveals the final card design.
The Football Player
Capturing the thrill and energy of football culture, the Footballer card celebrates the spirit of sportsmanship and the love of the game. The animation takes you on a player’s journey, beginning with the pre-game energy of a stadium dressing room before moving through the entrance corridor and onto the bright pitch. An energetic sequence of a player interacting with the ball highlights the focus and passion of the sport before the camera transitions to reveal the final card design
The Astronaut
Focusing on the adventurous spirit of those who dream of venturing into the unknown, the Astronaut card captures the wonder of exploring outer space. Its animation takes viewers on a cosmic journey, opening with a swirling black hole that gives way to a teeming solar system. The narrative builds by showcasing iconic elements like the Voyager satellite and a weightlessly floating astronaut before passing through a cosmic threshold to reveal the final card.
