AMBI MoodBud
A Light In Stressful Times
For AMBI Health project, we were entrusted to craft an animation introducing their groundbreaking device, MoodBud I.
This innovative wearable earbud doesn’t play sound but instead employs light and temperature to reduce anxiety and stress in the body.
While the device’s website provides comprehensive details, our animation was designed to visually capture its purpose and functionality.

Process and Execution
The primary challenge was to visually represent stress and its alleviation, which we conceptualized as jagged, glass-like formations building up inside a human figure to capture both the painful rigidity and fragile nature of the tension. The animation begins with close-ups of the sleek MoodBud I device before showing this visualization of stress. As the solution, the device gently fits into the ear, emitting light and temperature adjustments that break apart and dissolve the glass formations, radiating a soothing glow. This narrative was set within a minimalistic aesthetic, where the sharp, glassy textures of stress contrasted against the soft, smooth light of the device to underscore its calming influence. The final sequence concluded by highlighting the holder and monitoring system to emphasize the integrated features for tracking and managing stress over time.
